Non-road worthy road vehicle seized

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team recently assisted with the removal of this familiar red van from the area.

The vehicle had no valid vehicle tax, no MOT and no insurance, and was therefore seized using DVLA powers before being recovered.

Those with a good memory may recognise this vehicle, as this is not the first time it has been removed from local roads. We are hopeful that this will be the last occasion.

The good news is that the parking space is now available for a vehicle that is fully taxed, insured and roadworthy.
